Rancho Capistrano Winery began with a simple idea: bring the food, wine and relaxed spirit of California wine country home to Orange County.

Founded by Kyle and Sylvia Franson, Rancho Capistrano Winery has grown into a locally owned winery and restaurant known for our award-winning wines and wine-country-inspired cuisine.

Our kitchen takes its inspiration from the places where great food and great wine naturally belong together. Steaks and seafood, fresh salads, handmade pastas, artisan pizzas and shareable favorites are thoughtfully prepared using quality ingredients and bold, approachable flavors—all designed with wine in mind.

That same philosophy extends to our wines. We work with exceptional vineyards and growers throughout California and the Pacific Northwest to produce wines under our own labels, from bright, refreshing whites and rosés to Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and distinctive red blends.

At the heart of Rancho Capistrano Winery is a belief that good food and good wine make everyday moments a little more special.
